World Environment Day 2026 | How I Celebrated It!

World Environment Day 2026 brought me back to where it all began.

I was invited to my school, the same school where I completed my entire schooling till 2024, for a plantation drive.

Standing on the ground where I once played during breaks, I planted a sapling with a very different purpose this time. The soil felt the same, but my role had changed. From student to climate advocate, from runner to planter.

Through SAVE & PLANT TREES!, we believe climate action must start where our roots are. That day proved it. Planting in a place full of childhood memories made the message real: protecting the planet means protecting the spaces that shaped us.

One sapling won’t reverse climate change. But one sapling, multiplied by millions of youth taking action in their schools and communities, can.

Let’s keep working for the planet, together. 🌱✊️🌎

My Visit to a Government School | World Environment Day 2025

On 5th June 2025, on the occasion of World Environment Day, I had the honour of being invited to a government school in India. As an Environmentalist and Educator/Mentor, it was truly heartening to engage with a group of young, bright minds who are not only curious but deeply eager to contribute to real climate action. I spent the day connecting with students and introducing them to the importance of environmental awareness—discussing simple yet impactful actions they can take to make a difference. From understanding the impact of plastic pollution to the benefits of planting trees and conserving water, their enthusiasm was truly inspiring. The teachers, too, were incredibly supportive and enthusiastic, eager to understand more and pass on this awareness to future generations. This experience reaffirmed my belief that change begins with awareness, and the seeds of that change can—and must—be sown in our classrooms. Fruits of My Guava Plant! 🌿🍈

The Picture of the Guava from Our Plant! Many say that the fruit of hard work is sweet — and today, I’m truly experiencing it. The guava tree I planted in a picnic near my city has grown a lot, but let me take you back to the beginning. As I was busy with my studies and other activities, I didn’t have the option to take care of the plant by myself. So, I decided to replant it at my home, where it would be under my watchful care. With the help of my family, I started nurturing it, and soon it began to grow well. Fast-forward to today — it’s finally bearing fruit! Back in early July, there were two big guavas hanging on the tree. I plucked one and decided to let the other grow fully. The first guava was only half-ripe, but it was still incredibly sweet. This morning, I plucked the second one — perfectly ripe, delicious, and unbelievably sweet.
